New Family Resources
At Roosevelt Elementary, we know starting at a new school can be exciting—but sometimes a little overwhelming. That’s why we’re launching a new program to connect new families with established Roosevelt families. This is a great way for new students to feel more at home and for families to have a friendly guide as they learn about our school community.
For New Families:
If your family is new to Roosevelt, we can connect you with a welcoming family who can:
Answer questions about the school and the start of the year
Share tips for navigating school routines and events
Invite you to PTA activities and community events
You’ll have someone to check in with throughout the year, especially during transition times, so your family feels supported every step of the way.
For Current Families:
Would your family like to help a new Roosevelt family feel at home? We’re looking for volunteers to:
Reach out and introduce yourselves to a new family
Share your experiences and answer questions
Check in periodically and invite them to PTA events
Along with Mr. Supa, our principal, and our new school social worker, we’re committed to helping every new family and student feel welcome.
